Try the Automatic Driver Update Utilityor you can request a driver and we will find it for you. But, when I try to install this driver, I get this message: There wasn’t any problems in device manager with the audio until after the update.

Let me know if you were even able to do this. Prior to my Windows 7 update, I installed Kubuntu Ubuntu with KDE interface dual boot, and with Kubuntu the sound seems to be working fine except for a known issue I have yet to address concerning Flash plugin sound. Maybe it was the update from Microsoft that crashed it.
Choose Conexant or similar. I put the AMD x64 drivers in a folder on my desktop. But I still get this message: Change dropdown to hardware ids.
